About The Position

As the Director of People and Culture at Jackrabbit Technologies, you will be responsible for aligning the people strategy with our business objectives, ensuring we have the right talent, performance systems, and culture in place to drive our growth and success. You will be a key partner to our senior leadership team, influencing and implementing people practices that elevate business performance while holding teams and individuals accountable for results. Your leadership will focus on reinforcing a culture where every individual is empowered to contribute their best, receive regular feedback, and take full ownership of their performance. You will lead HR functions that directly impact business outcomes, such as talent acquisition, performance management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, ensuring these areas are aligned with Jackrabbit Technologies’ vision and goals.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; or commiserate education and experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of direct Human Resources experience
  • 3 to 5 years of managerial experience
  • Foundational broad and current subject matter knowledge in federal and state employment laws
  • Proven aptitude for strategic human resource planning and thought leadership
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of HR experience with fully remote or hybrid interstate teams preferred
  • SHRM or PIHRA certificate preferred
  • Understanding of international employment law preferred
  • Familiarity with Korn Ferry Competencies and its organizational applications preferred

  • Partners with leadership to foster a culture of continuous improvement ensuring feedback is continuous and constructive, fostering a growth mindset and motivating employees to meet and exceed targets
  • Design and lead talent acquisition strategies that focus on targeting and attracting high-performing individuals capable of driving business results ensuring a pipeline of top talent to meet both current and future business needs.
  • Maintain department’s sharp focus on hiring for impact and cultural alignment, ensuring each new hire contributes meaningfully to our company’s goals
  • Create and implement leadership development programs that cultivate strong leaders who can hold themselves and their teams accountable for driving results.
  • Foster peer accountability within teams by ensuring leaders manage their responsibilities and align their teams with organizational goals, promoting cross-functional collaboration and driving alignment toward shared business objectives.
  • Work closely with our executive team to develop succession plans, ensuring the organization has the leadership capacity to scale as Jackrabbit Technologies grows.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives that foster a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and alignment with our company’s business goals.
  • Measure engagement through data and ensure feedback loops are tied to action plans aimed at improving business performance and operational excellence.
  • Focus on creating a performance-driven culture where engagement directly correlates with productivity and results.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure HR strategy and programs are closely aligned with Jackrabbit Technologies’ business objectives, growth plans, and performance metrics.
  • Lead the design and execution of compensation, benefits, and rewards programs that incentivize high performance and align with business goals.
  • Develop data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and demonstrate their impact on the bottom line.
  • Work closely with leadership to foster an agile mindset throughout the organization, ensuring processes and structures are flexible and responsive to changing business needs.
  • Oversee the development of training and support for agile practices, ensuring employees at all levels are equipped to thrive in an agile environment and strive for self management with a constant focus on customer and market value
  • Ensure alignment of HR processes and performance metrics with agile principles to enhance overall organizational effectiveness and adaptability.
