This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening the community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Director of Senior Programs provides strategic leadership and operational management for all programming, events, and enrichment services at the senior center. This position oversees the development and implementation of a comprehensive schedule of educational, wellness, recreational, and social programs serving a diverse senior population. The Director manages a large network of instructors, coordinates staffing and payroll processes, assists with budget oversight, and leads marketing and community engagement efforts to ensure strong participation and financial sustainability of programs. CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION: I will support the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region’s commitment to child abuse prevention by: Reporting any suspicious behavior and violation of policy and procedures to your supervisor Following all policies and procedures related to keeping children safe in our facilities and programs, including those related to the monitoring and supervision of children. Completing all child abuse prevention training as required. Reporting any items that may provide a health or safety hazard to staff, members, or guests to your supervisor.
