About The Position

The Director of Student Financial Services (SFS) provides strategic leadership
and oversight of all financial aid and student account operations at the Icahn
School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS). This role ensures the efficient
administration of student financial services, compliance with federal and state
regulations, and the delivery of exceptional service to students. The Director
collaborates closely with senior leadership on the management and stewardship of
the ESI need-based scholarship program, leads financial literacy and debt
management initiatives, and oversees all audits, program reviews, and compliance
requirements. The Director serves as the primary liaison for internal and
external stakeholders on financial aid, billing, and collections, fostering a
culture of service excellence and continuous improvement across all SFS
functions.
