About The Position

In this role, the candidate will lead aspects of strategy, strategic marketing and execution of strategic initiatives. The role will lead strategic marketing initiatives to achieve growth by setting goals and designing action plans in strategic marketing - defining and executing on sales process improvement and leading cross-functional projects that enhance customer experience. The role will also have oversight of Marketing Communications. Additionally, this role will be involved in formulating and tracking competitive strategy for the business units. The candidate may also work on organic growth initiatives.

Requirements

  • +15 years of professional experience in manufacturing company or consulting firm.
  • Proven track record of leading projects and cross-functional teams, business/financial analysis, and presentation of results and recommendations to management.
  • Superior analytical skills, creativity in problem solving, research capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences.
  • Comfort working on a cross-functional team in a dynamic, fast-moving, and high stakes work environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Results oriented, metrics driven leader focused on continuous improvement.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Champion and manage cross-functional initiatives that improve our customer’s ease of engagement and transaction, such as process simplification, digital enablement, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify pain points and implement solutions that improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee marketing communications, ensuring consistent brand voice across all channels. This includes our MT website, social media, tradeshows, and other marketing collateral.
  • Drive brand positioning and thought leadership initiatives globally.
  • Collaborate with senior management to define strategic priorities and align corporate development activities with overall business goals.
  • Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities and prioritize the growth opportunities.
  • Develop/update corporate and competitive strategy for business units.
