As the Director of Technology Process Innovation at Kroll Business Services, your primary focus will be on optimizing data engineering processes and ensuring seamless client service technology support. You will be a critical driver of innovation and efficiency in these areas, harnessing the power of technology to enhance our service delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience, 10+ years, in data engineering, with a track record of leadership and team management.
Strong understanding of data management, data analysis, and data architecture.
Proficiency with data engineering tools and technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL, data integration platforms).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive process innovation strategy for the Technology department, aligning it with the overall business objectives and goals.
Lead efforts to establish and maintain state-of-the-art data engineering practices, including data collection, storage, processing, and analysis, to support our client service initiatives.
Assess the current technology landscape, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and digital transformation.
Oversee the development and maintenance of technology solutions that directly enhance client service delivery, ensuring our technology stack meets and exceeds client expectations.
Drive innovation in data engineering and client service technology support, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and client service teams, to ensure technology aligns with client needs and industry standards.
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing processes and workflows, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for enhancement.
Act as a change agent, working closely with stakeholders to drive adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and impact of process innovation initiatives.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and trends related to process improvement and digital transformation.
Champion a client-centric mindset within the technology team, ensuring that technology solutions are tailored to meet client requirements effectively and efficiently.
