About The Position

A Dish Machine Operator is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a food service environment. This role typically involves operating dishwashing machines, hand-washing items as needed, and maintaining a clean and efficient work area. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are essential for success in this role.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
Completion of Orientation and safety training
Additional trainings as assigned
Wear black nonslip shoes
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred, and/or one to three months related experience preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
Ability to listen to and apply instructions.
Ability to request guidance as needed.
Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission permit from a relevant government agency.

Responsibilities

Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
Washes pots, pans, and trays.
Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
Washes and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Segregates, removes trash, garbage and places it in designated containers.
Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
Works together as a team to achieve customer service.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Requisition cleaning supplies as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
