Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative Janel Group is seeking a Dispatcher / Customer Service Representative to coordinate freight movements, communicate with drivers, and ensure timely deliveries to our customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in trucking/logistics, as well as customer service experience dealing directly with the customer. Primaary Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer needs and load availability. Communicate with drivers to provide route updates, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations. Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, delivery times, and service issues. Coordinate with warehouses, freight brokers, and shippers to optimize routes and load efficiency. Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and load details. Assist in resolving transportation delays, driver concerns, and other logistical challenges. Resolve customer complaints and service-related issues promptly and professionally. Maintain positive relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors. Handle incoming calls and emails regarding dispatch, delivery confirmations, and load availability.
