The Distinguished Technical Fellow (DTF) - Power & Propulsion Systems is a technical leader and strategic owner for future (e.g., N+2 and beyond) propulsion and power systems. As an executive-level subject matter expert, the Distinguished Technical Fellow is a broadly recognized technical expert and thought leader inside and outside of GE Aerospace. This role defines and governs multi-horizon technology strategy, shapes competitive roadmaps, and drives outcomes through strong collaboration with GE Aerospace Research Technology Director, Business Development, Platform Leader organization, as well as and Enterprise Strategy teams. The DTF leads "systems-of-systems" approach to commercial and defense-related aerospace power and propulsion technologies to deliver breakthroughs, accelerate technology transfer into programs, and maximize impact through external partnerships and funding leverage – always with uncompromising safety and quality.
