About The Position

Communicates with company driver applicants through all stages of the onboarding process to recruit, select, and hire qualified individuals for employment with Day & Ross or any of its subsidiaries. How You’ll Help Source and qualify candidates for various driving roles nationwide Reach out to candidates via emails, phone calls, and text messaging to engage drivers. Clearly communicate job responsibilities, company culture, and become the conduit between quality driver candidates and operational needs. Ask probing questions to either eliminate or move forward with candidate Summarize key benefits and value propositions Update our ATS (Tenstreet) to reflect current candidate information, including notes, interviews and all data received from 3rd party records. (MVR, Background Information, etc.) Attend hiring events and work at offsite locations for special projects/events or start-ups. Work closely and communicate with related departments. Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Computer literacy and Microsoft Office Products proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Working knowledge of the transportation industry, DOT Regulations and Federal Regulations pertaining to hiring practices.
  • Up to 25 percent travel may be required within North America.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with the Tenstreet Application Management System is preferred.
