Your Role as a Driver As a Driver, you ensure that sheet metal materials, ductwork, and other essential supplies are safely and promptly transported from our fabrication shop to job sites. Your role is crucial in maintaining project timelines and upholding our reputation for precision and reliability.

Requirements

Valid Class B or C Driver's License
Clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major accidents)
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred
Ability to lift and handle sheet metal materials safely up to 50 lbs
Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
Must pass a background check
Familiarity with GPS systems and mobile apps for logs
Ability to start early mornings (typically before 6 AM) through 4:30 PM
Comfortable working independently and in changing conditions

Responsibilities

Timely Deliveries: Transport ductwork and materials according to a daily route schedule.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and ensure the vehicle meets all DOT and Tech Air safety standards.
Proactive Communication: Keep field foremen and dispatch updated on delivery times, delays, or any issues encountered.
Support On-Site Operations: Assist with offloading materials at job sites and verify that shipments match paperwork.
Vehicle & Record Maintenance: Maintain daily logs of hours worked, pre-trip inspections, and other required documentation.
