Position Summary The Dry End Operations Supervisor is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all Dry End production processes and equipment. This role provides direct leadership to Dry End personnel, ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, and supports continuous improvement across the operation.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities with a track record of leading teams effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience working in the Dry End area of the Charleston, TN facility.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot operational issues and drive process improvements.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and conduct performance evaluations for Dry End process personnel, identifying development needs and providing ongoing feedback.
  • Actively support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities, including conducting GEMBA walks, completing ASA/Hazard IDs, and sustaining high housekeeping standards within the Dry End area.
  • Champion a culture focused on zero injuries, zero environmental incidents, and zero process incidents.
  • Coordinate and manage Dry End staffing and workflow to meet production targets efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance department to minimize equipment downtime and support planned and unplanned maintenance activities.
  • Ensure all Dry End operators receive proper training, certification, and ongoing skill development.
  • Plan and oversee activities during scheduled washes and maintenance windows to optimize downtime.
  • Partner with Dry End operators to identify and implement improvements related to safety, housekeeping, product quality, and production efficiency.
