About The Position

Overview Picture your day starting on the production floor, walking the line of precast members, shop cards in hand. You partner with your Manager to review each card, verify the specified dry finish for every bed form, and line up the work so products move smoothly from pour to storage. As the Precast Dry Finish Supervisor, you guide Specialty Finishers and Concrete Finishers, ensuring every member is finished correctly and green-tagged before it leaves your area. What You Will Do Uphold all Safety and Quality procedures to protect people and deliver consistently high-quality products. Review shop cards with the Manager and confirm the required dry finish for each bed form. Assign one or more Class B Concrete Finishers to each concrete product and balance workloads to meet production goals. Brief each Concrete Finisher on the exact dry finish required, including any special or unique finishing instructions. Perform dry finishing work yourself when needed to keep schedules on track. Complete detail tasks such as sawing off strand ends, sacking concrete members, and rocking edges of panels as needed. Apply rework and touch-ups to concrete products whenever quality standards or specifications require it. Verify that members are properly green-tagged prior to storage. Take on other duties as directed by the Supervisor to support the team and production flow. Why This Role Matters Your leadership sets the pace for dry finishing excellence. By coordinating crews, clarifying expectations, and stepping in on the tools when necessary, you ensure every member meets spec, looks exceptional, and is ready for safe storage—on time, every time.
