About The Position

A Day in the Life It’s 4:30 a.m. in Ripon, Wisconsin, and the Small Chassis Dryer area comes to life. You kick off the morning safety huddle, confirm yesterday’s KPIs, and walk the line with Team Leads. Quality checks are queued, ergonomic evaluations for a new workstation are on your docket, and a cross-functional sync with Technical Support is set before first break. By midday you’ve coached a Team Lead through a training plan, resolved a supplier-related quality concern with the Quality team, and connected with a Union Steward regarding a routine contract question. Before the shift ends at 3:00 p.m., you’ve closed out timekeeping, updated the area’s annual objectives tracker, and identified two Kaizen ideas that cut waste without compromising delivery. Role Purpose Lead day-to-day production in the Small Chassis Dryer area by directing Team Leads and supporting team members to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. You’ll set the tone for respectful, servant-minded leadership and continuous improvement every day.
