This is a great opportunity for a qualified Duck Creek QA Specialist to manage and execute quality assurance activities for Duck Creek implementations and releases across one or more Lines of Business. This role oversees and drives test planning, execution, and defect management for the policy lifecycle to ensure stable, compliant, and high-quality deliveries aligned with Duck Creek out-of-the-box capabilities. The QA Supervisor works closely with business stakeholders, system integrators, and Duck Creek product teams to identify quality risks, support UAT, and enable successful go-live decisions. This position will be based out of our home office in Sarasota, FL (could also be worked from our regional office in Richardson, TX) with the opportunity to work a hybrid work schedule of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. In this role you will be responsible for the following: Communicating, prioritizing and tracking test execution, defects and issues appropriately and recommending corrective action when required. Directing all activities related to functional testing, regression testing, UI testing, and unit testing for all new features in cross browser environments including mobile devices. Delivering quality products by ensuring that thorough testing and all phases of development life cycle are accomplished using a combination of testing methods. Quality Strategy & Leadership Define and own the end-to-end QA test strategy for Duck Creek implementations and upgrades. Establish testing standards, governance, and quality gates across all phases of delivery. Promote OOTB-first testing and minimize unnecessary customizations. Provide quality risk assessment and recommendations to senior leadership. Test Planning & Execution Develop and manage comprehensive test plans and execution for policy lifecycle components (quote,bind,issue, day2 transactions) as part of System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT support. Coordinate testing across Duck Creek modules and Ecosystem applications such as Policy, Billing, Claims, Rating, Forms, and Integrations . Manage test environments , test data, and release dependencies. Ensure timely and high-quality execution of test cycles aligned with program milestones. Defect & Quality Management Own the defect management lifecycle including triage, prioritization, root-cause analysis, and closure. Partner with development, SI, and Duck Creek teams to resolve quality issues. Track and report quality metrics such as defect trends, test coverage, and defect leakage. Escalate quality risks with data-driven insights Performance & Non-Functional Testing Lead performance and scalability testing for policy, endorsement, renewal, and rating workflows. Coordinate performance testing efforts with infrastructure and application teams. UAT & Business Collaboration Work with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum environments. Establish and validate baseline performance metrics for each LOB. Partner with business stakeholders to ensure UAT readiness and execution . Support UAT defect triage and facilitate business sign-off Vendor & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary QA point of contact for System Integrators and Duck Creek teams. Manage vendor performance and ensure accountability for defect resolution and deliverable milestones. Review vendor deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards.
