The Columbia, South Carolina office of Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced E‑Billing Assistant to join our Accounting team. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with 3+ years of electronic billing experience who thrives in a collaborative, service‑driven environment. Our Accounting Department supports Nelson Mullins offices nationwide, delivering accurate, timely billing and exceptional client service. In this role, you will manage the full electronic billing lifecycle—from preparing and submitting LEDES invoices through BillBlast or client‑specific e‑billing platforms to tracking their progress and resolving any rejections to ensure successful client acceptance. You’ll work closely with attorneys and administrative assistants to confirm compliance with client‑specific billing requirements, maintaining thorough documentation and upholding the department’s high standards for accuracy and responsiveness. You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values communication, reliability, and a strong commitment to quality.
