This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of EHS specialists, you will assist in the implementation of all Environmental, Health and Safety programs at the Florida site. Technical safety program areas include, but not limited to: explosives, cryogenics, crane, robotics, process safety management, and radiation safety. You must have a passion for continuous improvement of a safety culture and building agile safety processes. You will oversee waste disposal and remediation work including hazardous and non-hazardous waste; ensure local compliance auditing; execute the emergency response plans; indoctrinate in-field employees and contractors on our Safety Program and deliver training; assist in investigations of injuries and illnesses, as well as near misses; and support the development of job hazard analyses.
