About The Position

To support the senior electrician and supervisor in operation of plant.

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Technical school certification in electronics, instrumentation, electrical or similar field of study. Or a minimum of 10 years previous industrial/manufacturing electrical experience.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman electrical license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with plant safety regulations and good manufacturing practices.
• Support senior electrical technician and maintenance supervisor.
• Oversee line installation and maintenance for plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair DC and AC drive systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC system and repair them.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair all electrical systems from main power to computer level.
• Coordinate and complete PM’s and work order.
• Help train other electrical technicians.
• Responsible for repair of major breakdowns.
• On call.
• Keep up with time and paperwork.
• Housekeeping.
• Assist other maintenance personnel as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
