About The Position

Electricians are expected to install and repair electrical systems and electrical and electronic components on luxury yachts. They must be able to work with outside contractors. Must have knowledge to adjust and troubleshoot all electrical and electronic equipment as needed during the entire construction phase and any jobs as may be requested by the owners at the time of delivery.

Reports to: Electrical Department Manager

Requirements

• Perform all skill level 1 & 2 duties and responsibilities.
• Perform extensive layout work.
• Develop schematics.
• Solve all problems related to electrical systems.
• Possess knowledge of advanced electronics (Radar, VHF, SSB, Satellite systems)
• Demonstrate consistency and proficiency in all trade related knowledge and experience.
• Possess ability and willingness to successfully train at least one level 1 and/or level 2 associate and may from time to time be required to direct at least two other associates while still accomplishing their own work on schedule.
