About The Position

For the 2026-2027 school year, Holy Trinity Catholic School is seeking a self-contained elementary teacher. Position Title: Teacher Terms of Employment: 190 days/year The teacher is hired by and is responsible to the principal. The duties of the teacher include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities

Supports and implements the philosophy of Catholic Education.
Gives evidence of lived Gospel values.
Participates in building faith community.
Demonstrates evidence of prior planning and preparation.
Uses effective teaching techniques, strategies, and skills during lesson.
Demonstrates knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
Uses instructional time efficiently and effectively.
Evaluates student progress effectively.
Provides for individual differences.
Demonstrates ability to motivate students.
Maintains an atmosphere conducive to learning.
Manages student behavior in a constructive manner.
Works cooperatively with administration.
Works as a team member with educational staff.
Demonstrates positive interpersonal relations with students.
Maintains positive interpersonal relations with parents and other members of the school community.
Maintains professional manner in classroom and other school related settings.
Demonstrates a sense of professional responsibility.
Actively and cooperatively participates in responding to total school needs.
Keeps abreast of development in curriculum and the learning process.
Interacts with colleagues to further professional growth.
Takes advantage of opportunities to further professional growth.
Other duties as assigned by the principal.
