About The Position

For more than 30 years, we have collaborated with and supported small to medium-sized businesses by providing Payroll, HR, Workers’ Compensation, and Benefits solutions. Our goal is to support our clients in such a way that they can continue to grow their businesses and not worry about employee administration. SUMMARY This position assists in the administration of comprehensive employee group benefit plans, including health, dental, life, disability insurance, and retirement programs. The role provides essential support to Payroll, Human Resources, and other departments while delivering excellent customer service to employees and clients.

Requirements

  • Analytical Skills — Collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data analysis.
  • Mathematical Proficiency — Competent in performing basic math functions accurately and efficiently.
  • Technical Skills — Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas (or strong willingness and ability to learn advanced features quickly).
  • Interpersonal Skills — Positive, approachable demeanor with a strong ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to multiple departments, with primary focus on Payroll and Human Resources.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service to internal employees and clients by responding to inquiries and resolving benefit-related issues.
  • Review, process, and post benefit enrollments, status changes, and terminations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Process state-mandated orders for dependent enrollment in applicable lines of coverage.
  • Maintain up-to-date client premium rates, employer/employee contributions, and related records.
  • Manage and update employee benefit files, ensuring accurate record-keeping and confidentiality.
  • Assist with various ad hoc projects and initiatives within the department as needed.
