About The Position

The End User Security Administrator serves as the agency’s primary authority for managing user access across all internal and external applications. This role oversees the full lifecycle of access requests, administers user and group objects within DEQ’s Active Directory OUs, and ensures access workflows are routed and completed accurately. The position works closely with system owners to develop and maintain system access policies and leads the agency’s transition to persona based permissions to support consistent, least privilege access practices.
Please note this position follows a hybrid work schedule to include both in-office and telework. Candidates must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia.
