About The Position

Job Purpose: This position oversees all actions related to process development and release, including but not limited to: quoting, project management, customer communication, validation, qualification, and First Article builds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 9001, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes). Quoting Core Responsibility Oversee the quoting process for new and repeat business Manage and prioritize employee workflow to ensure timely quote times Communicate with customer to resolve any questions or further define project scope to be quoted Project Management Core Responsibility Lead large project development activities Host status meetings with customers and stakeholders Complete or assign actions related to bringing product(s) to production status Provide design support to customers Documentation/Process Control (Engineering Changes) Core Responsibility Oversee the control and release of critical documents such as prints, process sheets, and control plans Update documents and procedures to optimize and improve processes Approve Engineering changes per SOPs First Article, QRM, and Validation Core Responsibility Manage the First Article / QRM assembly group Complete validation activities per SOPs and customer requirements Draft and submit reports to support customer validation activities Sales Support Core Responsibility Act as technical advisor for Sales Team to support new projects Participate in Sales meetings as required Coordinate with Sales Team to ensure a positive customer experience Communications Core Responsibility Create, track, and report KPIs to management and leadership teams Provide continuous communication to stakeholders within the company regarding open actions Communicate with customers via email, phone, or in person interactions Employee Oversight Core Responsibility Build a high successful engineering team Ensure high morale of team Ensure all safety and GMP standards are followed Monitor employee performance and attendance Production and Quality Support Secondary Responsibility Provide feedback and support to production and quality teams relating to new and existing products Support process improvement projects with production team Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working understanding of electronics and electricity. Familiar with reading and interpreting engineering drawings and electromechanical product specifications. Knowledge of mechanical parts / assemblies, mechanisms, wiring, connectors, etc. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to perform complex mathematical operations and interpret graphs. Skill to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external organizations, groups, team members and individuals. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must have knowledge of computers, machining and assembly practices, tools and fixtures. Ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees. Must excel at working in a team environment. Qualifications: Minimum BA/BS in Engineering, Technical Field, or combination of education and equivalent successful experience in a similar role. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering or technician role. Strong computer skills including proficient in MS Office and an ERP system. Strong background in assembly processes and manufacturing flow. Preferred: M1 ERP experience preferred. Additional experience with wires and cable harnesses preferred. Physical Requirements/Capabilities: Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and the ability to talk and hear. Ability to frequently sit for prolonged amounts of time, stand, walk, reach with hands and arm's length, climb or balance, stoop or bend, push, pull, kneel, and crouch as job requires. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally

Requirements
