About The Position

This role offers a unique opportunity to build a rewarding career working with Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEM) in a dynamic, semiconductor-focused environment. Successful candidates will be well versed in sample imaging for some of the following techniques: Cross Section SEM (XSEM), Electron Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDS/EDX), and sample cleaving.
Requirements
- AS/BS in related field of discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of SEM experience.
- Effective communication skills in English, written and verbal.
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work a shift schedule.
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree, Technical Certificate in a technical field.
- Experience in metrology or related areas.
- Experience in semiconductor is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting a variety of semiconductor applications using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) to image challenging structures.
- Experience in imaging samples on a wafer level taking profile, sidewalls, and top-down images on the SEM.
- Some experience with EDS analysis.
- Have knowledge on image optimization on the SEM for various materials.
- Have the ability to contribute to development of best-known methods (BKM) for SEM imaging of new applications.
- Be able to perform SEM alignments and correct basic fault conditions on metrology equipment.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills to work with large internal customer base.
