Requirements

• 8 yrs full-time hands-on technician experience with shipboard systems (assembly, overhaul, repair, modification, maintenance)
• Knowledge of JFMM, HM&E systems, blueprints, and work package procedures
• Ability to prepare written reports, conduct technical studies, and develop recommendations
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• NDA requirements

Responsibilities

• Conducts field and ship checks per Planning SOP
• Identifies and resolves HM&E, piping, and structural system issues
• Provides technical guidance
• prepares inspection reports and drawing sets
• Manages repair project development and cost estimates (C962)
• Installs and repairs locking mechanisms and keying systems aboard Navy vessels (C948)
