About The Position

As an Engineering Technician, you will support Operations by preparing detailed drawings of moderately complex components and assemblies from verbal instructions, and rough or detailed sketches for manufacturing purposes, using computerized equipment (e.g. CAD/CAM). You will verify completed work, dimensions, material and quantities for production. You will perform a broad range of engineering tasks, interpreting technical documentation, resolving equipment issues, contributing to product development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and performance.

Requirements

• 2 – 4 Years of Work Experience in a General Engineering role.
• 2 Year College Degree (Associates) or equivalent.
• CAD/CAM Experience.
• Knowledge of CNC Equipment Operation.

Responsibilities

• Creates and modifies drawings using CAD, scanner, etc. from sketches or layouts provided by customers.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and product descriptions to support operational decisions and provide technical information to production team.
• Support production activities by coordinating manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, and operational requirements to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Perform operational, labor, and methods analyses to support time standards, workflow optimization, equipment planning, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing process flows, work instructions, and standard procedures that define specific manufacturing steps and ensure consistent execution.
• Support cost estimation, tooling recommendations, and process requirements for new or existing products while maintaining records and reporting systems to coordinate manufacturing operations.
