About The Position

Brighton Center, Inc. is a private non-profit community-based organization with the mission to create opportunities for individuals and families to reach self-sufficiency through family support services, education, employment, and leadership. Purpose: To conduct marketing for Workforce Development Programs, perform outreach to various groups and individuals to recruit customers and volunteers, receive in-kind donations, and guide customers through the admissions process and enrollment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate creativity, initiative, professionalism, cultural competence, and alignment with agency expectations.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging customers, partners, volunteers, and community groups.
  • Ability to manage records, maintain accurate documentation, and complete compliance-related tasks.
  • Comfortable conducting public presentations, tours, and information sessions.
  • Capable of producing marketing materials and managing social media content.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and build partnerships with external organizations.
  • Willingness to maintain flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for outreach activities.
  • Maintain a trauma-informed, strength-based, and customer-focused approach in all interactions.
  • Ability to drive, maintain a valid driver's license, and have reliable transportation for community outreach in the Greater Cincinnati Region.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, support, and schedule volunteers; receive donations and complete required in-kind reporting.
  • Assist prospective trainees through the admissions process, including info sessions, funding applications, eligibility, and intake steps.
  • Track and update enrollment pipelines, enter data accurately, and prepare trainee files and ID badges.
  • Conduct information sessions, facility tours, open houses, and represent Workforce Development to the community.
  • Build strong relationships with internal staff and external referral sources (e.g., DCBS, Kentucky Career Center, housing authorities, high schools).
  • Develop and implement outreach and marketing plans, including social media content, flyers, and mailers.
  • Carry out strategic recruitment efforts through events, presentations, calls, mailings, and community engagement activities.
  • Meet program outcome goals, including recruitment, financial-aid eligibility completion, and new start targets.
