Job Description: Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is seeking a highly motivated Federal Civilian Enterprise Account Manager to join the HHS team. Goal is to drive net-new business growth across the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This role focuses on penetrating whitespace accounts, acquiring new logos, and expanding HPE’s presence across HHS agencies by leading with innovative solutions across AI, hybrid cloud, high-performance computing, networking, storage, and mission-critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a strategic seller with a proven track record of breaking into large federal accounts, navigating complex federal acquisition environments, and orchestrating cross-functional teams to win transformational opportunities that support public health, biomedical research, healthcare modernization, and data-driven health services.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
6+ years of enterprise technology sales experience, with strong exposure to Federal Civilian or Public Sector accounts.
Proven hunter experience acquiring net-new logos and expanding whitespace opportunities.
Demonstrated success selling complex infrastructure or platform solutions (AI, HPC, hybrid cloud, networking, storage, or data platforms).
Experience navigating federal procurement vehicles and acquisition processes within Civilian agencies.
Proven ability to develop and close multi-million-dollar strategic opportunities in complex federal environments.
Experience working with federal system integrators, consulting partners, and channel ecosystems supporting federal healthcare programs.
Ability to build strategic pursuit plans and execute opportunities from early engagement through contract award.
Strong hunter mindset with ability to penetrate new organizations and expand market presence.
Ability to develop account strategies and competitive win plans in highly complex environments.
Skilled at executive engagement with senior government leaders, program executives, and technical stakeholders.
Ability to navigate complex internal and external matrix environments.
Understanding of HHS mission priorities including biomedical research, public health analytics, health data modernization, and clinical data platforms.
Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies including AI, hybrid cloud, HPC, networking, storage, and data analytics platforms.
Familiarity with federal healthcare system integrators and partner ecosystems supporting HHS programs.
Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership of pipeline and outcomes.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Acquire net-new HHS customers and expand whitespace opportunities across specific programs and segments within NIH, CDC, CMS, FDA, and other HHS operating divisions.
Develop and execute strategic account plans that drive pipeline growth, competitive displacement, and long-term account expansion.
Lead complex federal pursuits by aligning HPE’s portfolio (AI, HPC, hybrid cloud, storage, networking, and services) with HHS mission priorities such as public health data, biomedical research, and healthcare modernization.
Build executive relationships with HHS decision makers including CIO organizations, research leaders, program executives, and acquisition officials.
Orchestrate internal teams and partner ecosystems including engineering, specialists, system integrators, and channel partners to win strategic opportunities.
Drive pipeline creation and deal closure through disciplined opportunity management and strong understanding of federal procurement strategies.
Position HPE as a trusted advisor supporting HHS initiatives related to health data platforms, AI-enabled research, clinical analytics, and large-scale scientific computing environments.
