About The Position

Enterprise Application Developer Objective
To research, analyze, design, develop, test and implement automated applications systems which support the business needs of the Farm Bureau Insurance Companies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum two years programming and/or systems analysis background required.
• Current knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, program language(s) and tools, testing techniques and tools, and program specification and interpretation required.
• Working knowledge of systems design and analysis tools and techniques required.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, succinctly and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience required.
• Willingness to pursue continuing job related training and education in systems and insurance required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at Farm Bureau, or a similar business, in computer information technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and build/implement new integration services between enterprise systems and third parties in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Design, develop, test, and build/implement computer applications of all sizes and complexity.
• Assist with estimation, planning, and breakdown of project tasks.
