About The Position

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking an Application Developer for the Office of Information Technology. Reporting to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting the implementation of Oracle HCM Cloud and providing ongoing support for both Oracle HCM Cloud and legacy Oracle PeopleSoft HCM . The role will focus on ensuring a smooth transition to Oracle HCM Cloud while maintaining critical PeopleSoft HCM functionalities until full migration is completed. • Preferred experience with the following: Oracle Integration Cloud, HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, Bi Reports, Workflow.
• Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR, Benefits.

• Oracle Integration Cloud ( OIC ) experience including but not limited to creating integrations, connections, data mappings & look-ups in addition to implementing error management and cloud adapter.
• Experience with building complex Apps Driven Orchestration, Scheduled Orchestration, File Transfer, Publish/Subscribe to OIC integrations.
• Eclipse, CVS , JIRA , and Confluence.
• UNIX scripting, developing web services: RESTful, SOAP , WSDL .
• Ability to understand complex, integrated, state-of-the-art and legacy computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Responsibilities include, design, develop and implement Oracle HCM Extracts, Fast Formulas, BI Publisher Reports, and HCM Data Loader ( HDL ) solutions to meet business needs.
• Support ongoing system optimizations, quarterly updates, and new feature adoption in Oracle HCM Cloud.
• This position will also provide day-to-day support to UHR and Payroll as well as troubleshoot production problems and provide Help Desk support.
• Will provide subject matter and technical expertise to junior staff.
