About The Position

The Enterprise Innovation Developer I designs, develops, builds, tests, analyzes, modifies, deploys, and supports low‑risk automation and AI‑enabled workflow solutions. The role receives defined requirements and translates them into innovative solutions, increasing efficiency across the credit union.

Requirements

Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g. information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
A significant level of trust, credibility and diplomacy is required. In-depth dialogue, conversations and explanations with customers, direct and indirect reports and outside vendors can be of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature. Communications may involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance. Typically, it includes subject matter experts as well as first level to middle managers.
Familiarity with low code/no-code platforms.
Basic understanding of AI concepts (prompting, embeddings, LLMs).
Experience with document Intelligence to extract test and structure from documents.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and modify automation logic and workflow integrations (connectors, parsing rules, workflow steps, AI) for low‑risk automation/AI solutions based on defined requirements and approved solution patterns.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing automation/AI solutions through root‑cause analysis; implement corrective modifications and performance/reliability improvements.
Implement and enhance prompt‑based and retrieval behaviors (where applicable) using established evaluation criteria and approved patterns; document test results and apply iterative improvements.
Execute solution testing and validation, ensuring changes meet acceptance criteria prior to release.
Prepare releases and deploy approved changes to production following peer review and manager approval.
