About The Position

Surface Experts is hiring an entry-level, field-based sales representative to help grow our presence with apartment communities, hotels, assisted living facilities, and residential builders. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people in person, and building relationships. You do not need formal sales experience. You do need to be comfortable spending most of your day on the road and walking into commercial properties. No formal sales experience required. We’ll train you on our sales process. No prior industry experience, degree, or formal sales experience is needed. We can teach the process; we can’t teach these traits: Coachable —eager to learn, open to feedback, takes responsibility for results, and willing to run a proven sales playbook. Curious — comfortable asking questions and seeks to serve customers by understanding them first Detail-Oriented — executes daily habits (routing, documenting metrics, sending follow-ups) that turn activity into revenue, consistently. This role is best suited for early-career or entry-level candidates. Highly senior sales executives or those seeking desk-based or remote roles may not find this position to be a good fit. We repair small damage to surfaces like Floors, Countertops, Bathtubs, Cabinets, Appliances, Furniture, Elevator Panels … Almost Everything!. We pride ourselves in our ability to provide incredibly fast service, while maintaining a friendly and professional atmosphere in our support center and on jobsites. We combine old school skill sets with new technology and products, resulting in a durable and appealing repair all provided with a smile. Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate, yet our competition focuses on complete resurfacing. Our objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship. We focus on saving our customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill. Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours. Our mission is to develop outstanding teams by investing in strong relationships. Together we work to solve our customers’ problems by reducing the waste of time, money and materials which end up in landfills. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Visit apartment communities, hotels, and job sites throughout the day
  • Meet with property managers, leasing teams, maintenance supervisors, and facilities staff
  • Walk units and common areas to identify surface repair opportunities
  • Introduce Surface Experts services and book repair work
  • Manage your daily route and schedule independently
  • Log activity, notes, and follow-ups in our system
  • Typical days include 10–15 on-site visits
