Entry-Level Outside Sales – Commercial Properties
About The Position
Surface Experts is hiring an entry-level, field-based sales representative to help grow our presence with apartment communities, hotels, assisted living facilities, and residential builders. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys being out in the field, meeting people in person, and building relationships. You do not need formal sales experience. You do need to be comfortable spending most of your day on the road and walking into commercial properties. This is an outside, field-based role. You will not be sitting behind a desk. Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair provider. We repair small damage to surfaces like Floors, Countertops, Tubs, Cabinets, Furniture … Almost Everything! You’ll have the freedom to structure your day, a steady flow of quality leads, a supportive team, and world-class training at Surface Experts HQ. No prior industry or formal sales experience required. If you bring the right attributes, we’ll train you to excel. Important Note This role is best suited for early-career or entry-level candidates. Highly senior sales executives or those seeking desk-based or remote roles may not find this position to be a good fit.
Requirements
- No formal sales experience required.
- Coachable —eager to learn, open to feedback, takes responsibility for results, and willing to run a proven sales playbook.
- Curious — comfortable asking questions and seeks to serve customers by understanding them first
- Detail-Oriented — executes daily habits (routing, documenting metrics, sending follow-ups) that turn activity into revenue, consistently.

- Property management or leasing experience
- Facilities, maintenance, or construction support roles experience
- Entry-level sales or business development experience
Responsibilities
- Visit apartment communities, hotels, and job sites throughout the day
- Meet with property managers, leasing teams, maintenance supervisors, and facilities staff
- Walk units and common areas to identify surface repair opportunities
- Introduce Surface Experts services and book repair work
- Manage your daily route and schedule independently
- Log activity, notes, and follow-ups in our system
- Typical days include 10–15 on-site visits
