About The Position

The Environmental Engineer supports air compliance programs at the Lima Refining Company through accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and application of environmental regulations. This site‑wide role works closely with refinery personnel and contractors to gather information, ensure compliance, and support environmental processes. This role requires a strong technical understanding of refinery operations and proactive engagement across the workforce.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the US
• B.S. in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or related Science Degree
• 1+ years of Environmental engineering experience equivalent in the refining or petrochemical industry

Responsibilities

• Support daily refinery operations to ensure compliance with air and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate environmental records, reports, and emissions calculations.
• Analyze environmental data to identify issues and improvement opportunities.
• Provide compliance guidance to operations, maintenance, and technical teams.
• Support MOCs, turnarounds, capital projects, audits, and agency inspections.
• Prepare and maintain environmental documents, databases, spreadsheets, and technical reports
