Requirements

• 0-3 years related environmental consulting experience.
• Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments; capable of working independently, under direct supervision of others, and in a team-orientated environment.
• Valid Driver's license and ability to pass an MVR.
• Commitment to safety.
• Attention to detail, ability to clearly document field activities and sampling.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER and related training.
• 70% field work, 30% office work.
• Ability/willingness to travel 30% of time and perform moderately strenuous tasks.
• Microsoft PC applications: Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performance of site investigations to support environmental projects, including field collection of samples and the interpretation of environmental data and report writing.
• Analysis of sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps.
• Conduct and document field activities such as soil and groundwater sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, interviews, and tank excavations and/or removals.
• Preparation of technical reports.
