About The Position

As an Environmental Services Specialist at MGM Grand, you will be responsible for cleaning, restoration and shampooing of all floors. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service by understanding their unique stories and needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 6+ Months of Prior relevant experience as a specialist, utility porter and/or training from the Culinary Training Center
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Strip, finish, high-speed burnish, spray buff, neutral clean, restore, etc. all floor surfaces as necessary and/or assigned
• Perform all cleaning, restoration and shampooing of all floors assigned
• Exercise care in the use of cleaning supplies, methods, and equipment, while following all safety guidelines
• Report needed maintenance and safety hazards in assigned areas to supervisor
• Contain and clean hazardous materials covered under the Code Blue specifications
• Work indoors and outdoors and is exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard to reach and unclean work areas
• Is exposed to cigarette smoke, hazardous materials and equipment
