About The Position

Directs and manages EEO compliance functions in the Dallas County Human Resources Department by conducting workplace investigations, issuing reports and recommendations, advising management and executive leadership, implementing training and development, and revising policies. Serves as the lead investigator for complaints related to discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Designs, develops, and implements training programs targeted at county supervisory employees. Coach supervisory staff on navigating complex employee relations issues in a legally compliant manner. Trains and coaches other investigators and support staff to complete timely, thorough, impartial investigation reports. Investigates one or more of the following subject matter areas: Title VII, sexual harassment, discrimination, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA, Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA), EEOC and DOL complaints.
