About The Position

The Equipment Service Manager leads the operations of the Maintenance and Installation Department, ensuring the efficient setup, installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance of company equipment, including vending machines, micro-markets, and office coffee systems. This role focuses on coordinating technical teams, optimizing service operations, and maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and customer service.

Requirements

  • Two-year certificate from a college or technical school, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification to service refrigeration components preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Maintenance and Installation Department, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of technicians.
  • Oversee service operations related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of vending equipment, micro-markets, and office coffee systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to technicians in diagnosing equipment issues and interpreting schematics.
  • Coordinate equipment assembly, retrofitting, upgrades, and installations to ensure operational efficiency and quality standards.
  • Partner with clients to confirm specifications, power requirements, installation timelines, and service needs.
  • Oversee inventory management of service parts and equipment while maintaining budget guidelines.
  • Plan and allocate labor resources to support installation and maintenance schedules while driving operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate service activities and support business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
