About The Position

Maintain and repair hydraulic systems, balers, conveyor systems and compactors Have a working knowledge of conveyor belts, bearings, motors and reducers Diagnose and perform light maintenance on heavy equipment such as loaders, skid steers and forklifts Help keep accurate count of spare parts and tools Maintain and organize tool and spare part areas Order parts and maintain appropriate inventory levels of key parts Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with OSHA Standards Perform routine inspections of equipment and complete preventative maintenance as needed Communicate with leadership and operations to appropriately schedule any repairs and/or downtime Perform all work and maintenance in compliance with Company and OSHA Standards

Requirements

• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems
• Strong mechanical and technical skills with mechanic background
• Welding and/or fabrication skills
• Previous experience with heavy or light equipment

Nice To Haves

• Experience with power systems preferred
