Equipment Technician Our Equipment Technician is responsible for assisting the G M of Facilities , Facilities Specialist s and Facilities Technicians in maintaining the operation of the facilit ies by performing production equipment maintenance, repairs, cleaning, modifications, construction projects and their completion in a timely , safe, and fiscally responsible manner. Your role in caring for our company : The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following : Responsible for ensuring the continued operation of all growth, processing and production equipment. While assisting with building and grounds maintenance. In partnership with the GM of Facilities and site management , ensure that the facilit ies maintain operation by performi ng inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs according to company policy and procedures. Complete work orders for production equipment maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs assigned while assisting Facilities Specialists and Facilities Technicians in their duties as needed . Executing assigned work by following instructions and utilizing operational and equipment manuals. Utilize the company work order tracking system to document work performed and maintenance completed. Responsible for collecting and properly disposing of trash, debris, and leftover materials after project completion to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Communicate workplace safety precautions to employees. Responsible for selecting appropriate tools and equipment before the start of each project and ensuring all items are correct, functional, and ready for use and transporting them to the job site for use. Perform other duties such as taking out municipal trash/recycling. Perform facility related tasks specific to irrigation and cultivation equipment. Periodically verify fire extinguishers and other safety equipment that are within approved dates and replace units when needed. All o ther duties as necessary .

Requirements

  • For legal reasons, all employees need to be at least 21 years of age.
  • You will be asked to pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • We ask that you have at least a high school diploma/GED.
  • We ask that you have a valid drivers license.
  • We ask that you have a minimum of one (1) year of equipment maintenance experience .
  • We ask that you are comfortable with heights.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fire extinguisher training a plus .
  • Strong attention to detail!
