About The Position

Based in America’s “It City,” Nashville SC has quickly become one of the fastest-growing soccer hubs, highlighted by world-class events and the opening of GEODIS Park in 2022—the largest soccer-specific stadium in Major League Soccer. Nashville SC is seeking Game Day control room staff and camera operators. Control Room Staff Roles: Director: leads the game day staff through the script choosing camera shots, and directing the technical director in what sources to take Technical Director: Operate the Ross Carbonite Switcher A1: Main audio operator. Familiar with Yamaha Mixers. This includes mixing in game, pregame, and halftime performances A2: Assist the A1 in all set ups for halftime, pregame, and other musical performances. Graphics Operator: Operate and update Ross Xpression graphics when called for by the producer. Clip Player: Playback of videos through Evertz Clip Player. Replay Operator: Coordinate with the director and producer what angles of replay are shown during live action. Hard Camera Operator: set up, maintain and operate long lens broadcast cameras. Listen to the director for the assignments of each camera to maintain high quality of work. Wireless Camera Operator: Coordinate with the Host and Producer the live elements of the game. Must be able to have a 50lb camera on your shoulder for long periods of time and hold a steady shot. Shader: Work with Camera operators to adjust colors, white balance, and back focus throughout the game. Music operator: Playback specific songs throughout the game when asked for by the producer of A1.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of experience in the above job desciption
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to think quickly on feet and troubleshoot issues
  • Creative and proactive problem solver
  • Detail oriented and able to properly roll cables
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays
