About The Position

Dorsia is seeking an Events & Experiences Intern to support member programming, activations, and partner-driven events during Summer 2026. This role supports the operational infrastructure behind each experience—building and maintaining the systems, databases, and workflows that ensure consistent, high-quality execution. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is highly organized, attentive to detail, and understands that premium brands are defined by the quality of their execution. You'll gain hands-on exposure to how event operations, member experience, and partner relationships intersect inside a fast-moving hospitality technology company — developing frameworks and instincts that transfer directly into a career in events, hospitality, or experiential marketing.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field (rising junior/senior preferred)
  • Strong written communication skills — able to draft professional outreach to venues and partners without supervision
  • Detail-oriented with high organizational discipline and reliable follow-through
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments where accuracy and speed both matter
  • Strong Google Workspace and/or Excel proficiency; CRM familiarity is a plus
  • Ability to synthesize information quickly and clearly — you distill complexity into action, not noise
  • Professional maturity in external-facing communications — you represent Dorsia with every email
  • Genuine passion for hospitality, events, luxury brands, and membership-driven business models

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in hospitality, PR, event production, or luxury retail
  • Familiarity with event management or CRM tools (Airtable, Notion, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Comfort with AI tools for workflow efficiency — automated confirmations, brief drafts, contract summaries
  • Interest in how live experiences drive member retention, acquisition, and brand equity
  • Strong time management instincts — you maintain clarity across multiple concurrent workstreams without losing detail

Responsibilities

  • Venue Sourcing & Vendor Operations
  • Lead venue outreach and initial qualification — evaluating spaces for capacity, pricing, availability, and alignment with Dorsia's brand and partnership standards
  • Build and maintain a centralized venue and vendor database, ensuring records are accurate, current, and actionable
  • Draft venue briefs and outreach templates that communicate Dorsia's standards clearly and efficiently
  • Support vendor coordination and track deadlines for approvals, printing, and deliverable submissions
  • Event Research & Market Intelligence
  • Conduct event research across markets — analyzing competitor activations, culinary trends, and emerging venue opportunities
  • Synthesize findings into clear, structured summaries that inform programming decisions and venue strategy
  • Production Support
  • Assist with run-of-show preparation and production checklists to ensure day-of execution is airtight
  • Support RSVP list management and guest data accuracy across events
  • Assist with post-event recaps and survey aggregation, packaging insights in formats that inform future programming
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Partnerships to align events with campaign calendars and brand priorities
  • Document processes and build lightweight templates, checklists, and repeatable workflows that improve operational standardization as event volume grows
  • Support AI-assisted workflow improvements where applicable — automated confirmations, brief generation, post-event reporting
