A day in the life. As our Events Intern on the Sales Operations team, you’ll support the planning and execution of both internal and external events, ensuring smooth coordination and logistics. Responsibilities include assisting with catering arrangements, organizing in-office meetings, and providing hands-on support during large external events. This role offers valuable experience in event coordination within a dynamic corporate environment. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the events team to help deliver successful and engaging experiences. MMA's internship is a comprehensive program that will provide you with real world business, risk management and insurance experience. Learn to apply the concepts you’ve learned in the classroom through project work and client interaction. You’ll also develop professional skills that will serve you the rest of your career. Marsh McLennan Agency’s internship program gives you the chance to find your interest and place in the insurance industry. MMA’s goal is to provide insight into all areas of the insurance industry and act as a springboard into full-time careers in the role you desire. Our internship will focus on the tools needed to build a solid foundation for our Client Management or Sales career pathways.

Requirements

  • Cumulative GPA 3.0 minimum
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Students entering or in their senior year toward a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree preferred. Majors in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Applied knowledge in the areas of communication, interpersonal relationship management, versatility and creativity.
  • Resolution and solution-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
