About The Position

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities Provide highly responsible and skilled support to the CEO, including coordination of travel arrangements and completion of monthly expense report / credit card reconciliations. Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings attended by the CEO. Assist the CEO with organizational/administrative projects, either in a leadership, coordinator, or support capacity. Support CEO Standups, Executive Team Meeting and Business Development Excellence Agendas, Action Items, and 15-5 Reports. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and practices by contributing ideas and troubleshooting problems. Receive, coordinate, route, and respond to verbal and written communications for and on behalf of the CEO in a timely manner, including matters of a sensitive and confidential nature. Maximize the scheduling efficiency and priorities of the CEO, acting as the first point of contact on behalf of the CEO. Manage the CEO’s calendar, exercising judgment on setting priorities for effective use of time. Provide support to the Arbor Research Board of Directors, including coordination of the quarterly meetings, individual committee meetings, and ongoing communication. Serve in the role of Assistant Secretary of the Arbor Research Board of Directors. Exercise initiative, planning, and independent judgment. Resolve routine and complex inquiries. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree plus at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible executive level support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience successfully coordinating/managing complex projects of long duration. Demonstrated performance with an extremely high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style. Proven success utilizing creativity and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to serve as champion/motivator of projects. Expert proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (including expert knowledge of electronic calendaring), and Adobe Acrobat. Proven ability to perform job duties successfully and efficiently with little or no supervision. Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and maintain focused work in a high volume, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work cooperatively with individuals from a variety of professional and non-professional backgrounds. Ability to travel, including international, with several nights away from home per year. Annual Salary Range $69,300 - $110,300 (US National Average) Base Compensation Determination Base Compensation is determined by market range and geographic location pay zones. Base Compensation also includes various individual factors unique to each candidate such as job level, prior experience, skill set, certification and educational which may impact the compensation structure. This position is classified as exempt according to FLSA guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible executive level support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience successfully coordinating/managing complex projects of long duration.
  • Demonstrated performance with an extremely high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong skills in English usage, grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Proven success utilizing creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to serve as champion/motivator of projects.
  • Expert proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications (including expert knowledge of electronic calendaring), and Adobe Acrobat.
