We are opening a new full-service restaurant in Shell Beach serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Custom House Restaurant Group is opening a new full-service restaurant in Shell Beach serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We are looking for organized and dependable team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and supporting great guest service. The Expeditor plays an important role in coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to help ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered efficiently during service. We provide full coverage for required Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) training and certification. Training time and certification costs are covered in accordance with company policy and California requirements. Employment is at-will in accordance with California law. Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask during busy service periods
  • Team-oriented attitude
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a California Food Handler Certification

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of orders from the kitchen to service staff
  • Monitor tickets and help maintain proper pacing of orders during service
  • Check dishes for accuracy and completeness before leaving the kitchen
  • Communicate with kitchen staff and servers regarding timing and special requests
  • Assist with final preparation and organization of dishes for service
  • Support kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain efficient service
  • Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo and service areas
