Control & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) is a dynamic engineering organization focused on the development and certification of military, commercial and industrial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems. CDS is responsible for all aspects of Pratt & Whitney engine control and diagnostic system development, including requirements analysis & definition, system & software architecture, algorithm design, and product software design, verification & validation. We integrate control and diagnostic system design across other engine system modules and with the air vehicles and provide support throughout the complete engine product life cycle. The Diagnostics, Prognostics and Health Management (DPHM) discipline within CDS is responsible for the development and deployment of cutting-edge data acquisition systems, diagnostics, prognostics, and analytics. This includes Usage Based Lifing (UBL) for P&W engines and components and deploying state of the art development tools & methodologies. Together, these technologies inform and enable Condition Based Maintenance / Inspection (CBM/CBI), yielding operational improvements and increased safety. The F135 Offboard Analytic Platform Integration Lead is responsible for developing sustainable and scalable processes to integrate F135 engineering analytics and DPHM’s development framework with OBPHM / ALIS. As a lead in this role, the candidate will help prioritize and maintain a backlog of analytics and platform development targets by working across a range of CDS/EDSI teams, including JPO, Rolls Royce, Collins and other stakeholders.
