About The Position

Position at JBS USA Job Title: Fabrication Superviso r Location: Omaha , NE Reporting to: Fabrication General Foreman Essential Job Functions: Manage daily operation from fabrication orders to comply with customer orders Maintain acceptable yield levels on all products and from previous da y to make necessary adjustments Perform safety walks at the start of each period co rrecting any non-compliance issues Work with Quality Control to ensure appropriate product quality Follow disciplinary procedures with hourly employees Keep track of employee hours Contributes to the ongoing development of JBS policies and procedures Perform other related duties as directed that correspond to the ov erall function of this position

Requirements

• Experience in fabrication or slaughter operations , preferred but not required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the meat/food industry , preferred but not required
• Experience leading a team preferred but not required .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Exhibit problem solving and leadership qualities
• Establish and maintain working relationships
• Must be able to walk and or climb stairs for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a loud environment with slick floors and very hot or cold environments
• Ability to work 50-55 hours per week with some Saturday work if necessary
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time
