Fabrication Lead
About The Position
Description Essential Job Functions: Train incoming new hires Work with location manager to facilitate cross-training schedules Coach/train fabrication employees on how to improve their skills in order to produce a quality product Back up vacation vacancies as needed Fill in where needed Other tasks and duties as assigned my location manager Responsibilities Actively engage in safety of self of self and others at the facility, including holding customers and contractors responsible for best in class safety Produce a quality product with attention to detail Ensure orders maintain internal schedule to keep pace to be on time to customer Follow directions from manager to complete daily tasks Contribute to continuous improvement activities as needed
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience in an production or warehousing role.
- Has advanced knowledge of manufacturing and shipping/receiving processes.
- 1-3 years experience in pruduction/inventory tracking software
Nice To Haves
- Successfully held a lead position in a warehouse environment.
- 1-3 years' experience in JD Edwards software
- Knowledge in utilizing showcase queries
