More information is available on our website https://www.sswtechnologies.com/ [https://www.sswtechnologies.com/] Job Summary: We are currently seeking an onsite Off‑Shift Fabrication Supervisor. This role is responsible for leading, developing, and supporting Production Associates while continuously improving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance across non‑core shifts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in management highly desirable.
  • Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership by example, effective teamwork, and interpersonal skills within all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a demonstrated willingness for continual learning and skill development.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as superior customer focus.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet challenging deadlines is a must!
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office to include Excel and Word.
  • Must be able to read, understand, communicate, and enforce Company policy and standards.
  • Detailed and hands-on oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce safety regulations.
  • Achieve plant operational targets daily, weekly, monthly, and annually through planning, directing, controlling, implementing, evaluating, monitoring, and forecasting.
  • Establish departmental quality initiatives to reduce scrap and rework.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and overall appearance of the facility.
  • Help to establish, prepare, implement, revise, and maintain policies, procedures, and job descriptions related to the facility.
  • Elimination of non-essential overtime.
  • Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities between shifts.
  • Responsible for confronting and documenting performance including disciplinary measures.
  • Supervise the activities and stimulate maximum efficiency and productivity of the department through teamwork, education, and acting as a mentor and positive role model.
  • Provide appropriate training and support as needed.
  • Participate and/or lead daily Gemba walks with Associates and the management team.
  • Maintain operations data, such as time, production, and cost records, and prepare management reports of production/utilization results.
  • Approve time and attendance for payroll.
  • Conduct a daily documented audit of responsible work area to ensure compliance with all requirements and coordinate follow up action as needed based on audit findings.
