About The Position
The Fabricator / Assembler is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and bonding components using a variety of materials including metals, honeycomb panels, plastics, and other structural materials. This Fabricator / Assembler role involves working from blueprints and specifications to produce high-quality assemblies while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The ideal Fabricator / Assembler is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and experienced in working with fabrication tools and assembly processes in a production environment.
Requirements
- Previous fabrication, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures and interpret basic blueprints or drawings
- Familiarity with fabrication tools, drills, and assembly equipment
- Experience with bonding adhesives or fastener installation is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to lift materials and work in a production environment
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate components using metals, honeycomb panels, plastics, and structural materials
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Measure, cut, drill, and fit materials to required specifications
- Bond materials using adhesives and fastening methods
- Drill holes and install bolts, rivets, and screws
- Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely
- Inspect assembled components for accuracy, fit, and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
