About The Position

Under general supervision, the Facilities Coordinator I is responsible for coordinating and supervising activities at the TEEX Headquarters, Gateway, and Galveston locations. This role serves as the point of contact for facility-related events, ensures buildings, grounds, and equipment are secure, maintained, and in good order, and coordinates repairs and routine maintenance. The position reports to the Facilities Manager and requires at least 25% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in applicable field.
  • No experience required with a Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.
  • Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or the ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Equivalency: an Associate’s degree with two years of experience in facility management or a High School Diploma/GED with four years of experience in facility management.
